It is always a bit traumatic when
traveling with guitars as you never know if you can take them on the plane. I was traveling with 2 guitars this time so gate checked the Strat (It’s in a pretty good case and I have never had a problem) but there was no way I was going to take my $8000 custom Mustapick acoustic with me so I began searching for a travel guitar. I came across this site www.journeyinstruments.com and discovered they did collapsible guitars and were about to put out a new full size grand auditorium guitar. Well, they sent one and I used that. I was completely blown away! It’s a full size instrument with a great sound either acoustical or plugged in and packs into a special bag they give you which fits int the overhead bin. Amazing!!
