Well I finally recorded my solo guitar arrangement of The Skye Boat Song. Now if you are and Outlander Series fan and think the music sounds familiar, that’s because the Skye Boat Song is used as the Theme for Outlander sung by various singers throughout the series. My single version can be found on may Bandcamp page HERE

I did record two versions; the single version on my Mustapick acoustic guitar and a second classical guitar version. The latter will appear on a future album.

On March 1st, 2024, Steve will be playing at the Folk Project, NJ Morristown U. U Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Rd., Morristown, NJ opening for the Grammy award winning singer & songwriter Tom Chapin. Steve’s set for the Folk Project will include his new piece ‘A Tune for Al’ dedicated to the memory of the great guitarist, Al Petteway.

My new album titled THE BOATMAN is coming out on Thursday May 20th, 2021.

It features 12 tracks of solo acoustic fingerstyle guitar music: some arrangements of traditional Scottish and Irish folk tunes, some newer arrangements and some original pieces. It will be available to stream at all platforms inc.
